GRAU GRINDS OUT WIN AT ALLEGRIA CLASSIC

Noel Grau from Spain, became the first player to win two events in the history of the Mediterranean Tour. With rounds of 73, 67 and a Final round 68 the Spaniard beat Conor O’Rouke from Ireland by two Shots. Overnight leader, David Law who had a three shot lead going into the final round, with a course record equalling 66 in the first round, faded away in the final round carding a 76 and eventually came in tied 3rd with fellow Scot Michael Stewart.

Grau, who defends his Palm Hills Championship next week at the Palm Hills Golf Course was delighted with his victory, and said, “my putter really heated up on the final two rounds, on some fantastic greens at The Allegria Golf Club. This victory gives me great confidence going into my defense of the Palm Hills Championship, I am really looking forward to defending on a course that I really suits my game”
