HARPER A HERO AT PALM HILLS CHAMPIONSHIP

Liam Harper from England wrapped up the first swing on the Mediterranean Tour Winter Series 2018 with an outstanding display of golf at the Palm Hills Championship 2018.

On a tricky course with tough greens Harper sealed a wire to wire victory with scores of 69, a course record 65 and a final round 68 for a score of 14 under par, to win the tournament by 10 shots.

Not only did Liam take home the winners cheque of Euro 5800, but also secured one of the 17 Challenge Tour Spots the Tour has on offer in 2018.

Week One winner Noel Grau, who also secured a Challenge Tour spot with his victory in The Allegria Classic, leads Harper in the Order of Merit. However with four events to go, the rankings are still wide open.

The next Swing for the Mediterranean Tour in 2018, will be from 4th – 8th March at Katameya Dunes, and then from 10th – 14th March at the Mirage City Golf Course.
